Our mission is to find DIY micro-solutions for macro-problems. We are artists, activists, researchers, journalists, students, and designers who offer workshops, performances, dinners, parties, and discussions on DIY culture, upcycling, waste cooking, craftivism, organic farming, and intercultural exchange.
Using fun and manageable tools, we educate and empower local communities to seek interdisciplinary, collaborative methods of addressing global environmental and social imbalances.
After three successful summer editions in Prinzessinnengärten, Berlin, we want to bring the ReThink festival to other cities. Spread the word about straightforward sustainability education, connecting different groups around environmental welfare for the sake of a better future. We will take to the road, but are also making the concept open source, under a Creative Commons License, and are working on a DIY guide. We also nurture an idea for an online platform for knowledge sharing. Next up for festivals are Manchester, England, Marcala, Honduras and Los Angeles, USA.
