This time at the Textilstammtisch we're presenting a few very interesting textile initiatives from our northern neighbors in the Scandinavian countries and also discussing issues such as local production, public funding, scandinavian design and sustainable mindsets.
Speakers: Runa Juhanisdotter and Kirsti Reitan Andersen

OSCE Saturdays Feat. Berlin Dye & Potato Print it yourself! Craftivism Workshop & Exhibition II :: slow creations & Bybaba
"At Agora Rollberg we have a huge parking lot, but at the same time we're not the biggest fans of cars. We love to contemplate on how mobility can be shaped in different forms to create a truly circular city. On the OSCEsaturday on May 27th we'll use the parking lot to raise questions and define solution for empty spaces in the city.
We'll be doing a mini-PARK (ing) day! How can the beautiful spaces between houses in the city be utilized better than as parking lots? There is so much undiscovered potential for these spaces to create a more beautiful, sustainable and happy city. Join us and figure out how! This OSCESaturday will be an open planning session where we'll collectively find a way to implenent the solution permenently at Agora Rollberg. Yes, that's right - we will close our parking lot and make it a space for the neighborhood instead. Come and share your ideas - the selected solution will be implemented permenty during the OSCE days June 29-July 2nd. "
12:00–13:00 Welcome & Talks:
Talks on circular mobility in an open round to get ideas and inspiration.
Fascilitated by: CRAFTIVISTS: Potato Print Craftivists (craft + activism = craftivism): Turn waste+weeds into treasures with slow creations and potato print cool designs with Bybaba from Sweden! We warmly welcome a hands-on DIY workshop in natural dyeing and potato printing, a collaborative Crafternoon! We make craftivism with samples of used fabrics carrying a stichted or printed message to hang at Agora Rollberg or in a public space. Craftivism has become a movement. The definition of craftivism is “the practice of engaged creativity, especially regarding political or social causes. By using their creative energy to help make the world a better place, craftivists help bring about positive change via personalised activism. Craftivism allows practitioners to customise their particular skills to address particular causes…making a difference one person at a time.”
13:00–13:30 Lunch and Teambuilding:
Bring some food and we'll have a picnic in the sun. Teams can be build during lunch for the next stage.
13:30–15:30 Ideageneration & Prototyping:
Creation and illustration of ideas including prototyping (models with Baubus, chalk drawings on the street, full size street furniture sketches made with cardboard etc.)
15:30-16:00 Presentations, Discussion & Voting:
Final ideas will be presented, discussed and voted on.
